Artwork Display

STEPPIE

You can tell Steppie had a small space, but did a great job displaying her work! I love how she added the board toward the back of her table, giving more room to display her product. Everything is organized and aesthetically appealing! I also like how she used a solid table cloth and brought it over some her displays as well. It really ties everything together!

Yarn Displays

This is a fun way to display your yarn! This person used hanging clothing compartments! Great Idea!

Wallet & Pouch Displays

MISSALISON

MissAlison's pouches stand alone here as a great display, but I have to point out how great it is they put them in trays. It adds order and keeps things in a row. I can see how things can get pretty crazy if they're not in the trays. Such a great idea!

Artwork Display

TUGBOATPRINTSHOP

I really like the way TUGBOAT displayed their artwork here at one of their shows. Hanging them from clips and rope is a great idea to get the viewer walking by to notice your booth.

Artwork Displays

ABBEYCHRISTINE

This is a fun and clever way to display little pieces of artwork.
AbbeyChristine put them in a trendy/retro suitcase. How cool is that?

Ring Displays

WILLOW BRANCH JEWELRY

This is a photo from my table at a craft show in Berkeley, Ca. I really like how I displayed my Wood Rings. It's simple and inexpensive. I found a wood plate (it's thick) and sat them on top. I also displayed a few on a candle stand to give it a little change in display. You never know if someone is going to over look one display, so some times it's good to have a product in various places on your table or within your booth....if possible.

Pouch Displays

ALLIEBEANS

I participated in a craft show and got to admire Allibeans great pouches in person! If this BLOG were about great products, I could go on and on about great detail and design. But this BLOG is about Booth and Display Ideas. With that said, I was really impressed with her table display. It's hard to display your work on a small table, but I think she did a great job! Grouping similar items on the table worked well. I also like how she used a basket for her tissue pouches, giving a variety in displays. Lastly, her choice in table cloth color was perfect. It drew attention to her table and complimented the walls wonderfully. :)

Booth Designs

WILLOW BRANCH JEWELRY

I finally took a photo of my table at one of my shows! I got a few compliments about my table display, which is always nice to hear. You're your own worst critic. A couple things I tried to do where giving hierarchy on the table for display. I used suitcases (which I also use as storage). I also decorated with pumpkins, which I think add a fun touch for the season. I actually made the pumpkins out of fabric and sold them. The space was really small, so it was hard to display my items without having it look too cluttered. Having various levels help with the point of view from the buyer and to adding a little interest.

Clothing Display

Pinkski's...Lil' Bubba Things

I love that these little dresses are hung sidewards! You can really see what they're selling and it makes it so much fun. I also really think the idea of having the dresses hanging on the clothesline is a great affect!

CABIN + CUB

Valerie, with Cabin + Cub did such a great job on her booth design, she won Best Booth Design! From her blog, she writes, "So the good news is... our booth (the Hob Snobs Craft Collective -- it is a bit hard to see the logo on the wall in this pic) won best booth design!! Awwww... yeah! We were super excited and surprised at being picked out of the 200+ other booths! Woohoo! And we managed to decorate on a tight budget as well.... um... carpet courtesy of craigslist, some furniture from our own houses, and an inexpensive feature wall color and custom wall lettering really did the trick!"

Booth Designs

FOUR MUNKEES

My eyes were drawn to the flag banner here at Four Munkees's Booth. It's great that they sell them as well. The colors of the booth and various displays (stands & table) really make this booth fun and interesting. I also think the heirarchy on the table makes for a fun way to display.

Scarf Display

AUTUMN2MAY

This is a fun way to display your scarfs! Find a window at a salvage yard or buy one and remove the glass (carefully). You can hang it from your canopy our build feet for it to stand on its own.

Accessories Display

HIP TO PIECE SQUARES

This is a fun way to display your hair accessories!

Jewelry Display Tutorial

HOPE STUDIOS

This tutorial shows how to make the display shown above for your jewelry! It's an easy and inexpensive display. You can paint the branches what ever color you'd like. You can even use branches that still have leaves!

Scarf Display Tutorial

A BOX LIVING

This display and tutorial for scarfs is from A Box Living! You can do so many things with this DIY Tutorial for your shows and home. What I love about it is that you can use different fabrics and make it a lot of fun. You can even use it at home after a show!

Pillow Displays

KMDESIGNS

I love this display of pillows. They really have represented them as art work on the wall! Having each pillow stand on it's own really gives the booth display color and it's so easy to see what their product is from afar.

Pottery Display

ALLEN DESIGN STUDIO

Allen Design Studio's display of pottery has really evolved from their first show. Like most people, they've learned over the years how to make their booth stand out and work with viewers by trial and error.
Melynn Allen explains in her blog, "I’ve just begun my third season on the craft fair circuit and every year I try to make some improvements to my booth set-up."
She then explains her booth design changes over the years, "I used drab beige tablecloths to begin with, and arranged the tables and shelves in a way that only 1 person could fit within the confines of my tent. Last year was a little better – I switched to black tablecloths and rearranged so that I could accommodate more people and easier browsing, but the shelving I used (I found them at a yard sale) were tall and rickety and swayed with the slightest brush of the wind.....So, this year I did some internet research and found a display company that I liked well enough and bit the bullet and ordered two new shelving units and a display/check out counter."

I think there is a point in time where you really need to invest into great displays, as Allen Design Studio did. It's not only important for your look and aesthetics of your booth, but safety of your product. That's a lot of time and money put into your product to just throw away (by bad supports or bad displays).

Ring Displays

WHIMPSY LOVE

How much fun is this Ring Display by Whimpsy Love? What a great idea! This is such a fun and inexpensive way to display rings! You can also paint the egg cartons various colors! I also love how you can stack them and use the lid for your price display! Very creative!

Clothing Displays

PLUMTICKLED

Here's a great way to display clothing and tutu's! Hanging clothes from a clothes rack (homemade or store bought) is always an easy way to display clothes. I also love how they are displaying their tutu's on a stand. You can also use a blanket stand or a plant stand for this! It really display's the tutu's well and puts it down at eye level for those little ones wearing them, which is VERY important! I also love how they used shutters to build their table and use it as display! It also saves a lot of room having the clothes hang up high (clothes that aren't too long, of course).

Pillow Displays

JEWELWEEDS

These "pillows" by jewelweeds are actually sachets, but I do believe the concept can be created on a larger scale for pillows. The idea of a tiered pastry stand could be great for so many products including jewelry, accessories, toys, etc.!

Tutorials / Card Displays

JCAROLINE CREATIVE

JCaroline Creative has a great tutorial for her STORAGE Baskets!

These can be used for so many fun things like cards, patterns, accessories, socks, anything you can think of! It's a fun way to add color to your booth, if needed! The storage baskets can be used at home after your show too, which is always a great way to keep yourself from having too much clutter!

Clothing Displays

MOD KID BOUTIQUE

Patty Young, with Mod Kid Boutique did a great job with her display of clothing here! It's set up as if it's a fun boutique or walk-in closet. The colors are wonderful and kid friendly, of course! Having models really help show what the clothes will look like and bring attention to the booth (especially being in the middle of the space). I also think photos of people wearing the product is very useful.

Handbag Displays

QUEEN PUFF PUFF

Queen Puff Puff has done a great job displaying their handbags! I love how they have the bags hanging off the table and on the table, but not setting on the table. Another thing that's great is the display of a model wearing the product. This is great advertising and a fun way to show how the product would look on someone!

Hat Displays

HAT DIVA

Hats take up a lot of space, so displaying them can get pretty complicated. Hat Diva did a great job displaying their hats here on the table and a stand. I also love the large mirror and round sign!

Scrabble Tile Display

Pretty {much} Art

Pretty {much} Art did a great job displaying their Scrabble Tile Pendants! Rather than laying the necklaces out as display, they have packaged them up in nicely designed bags. They also have them laid out on a Scrabble Tile Tray!

Ring Displays

LEAN DOG POTTERY

This is a fun and inexpensive way to display your rings! You can also use wild rice, white rice, or small pebbles. I do not recommend using sand - it's too messy! Lean Dog Pottery's dispaly makes it easy for the buyer to pick up the rings and try them on and put them back easily. The dark background of the beans really allow the rings to stand out, adding lovely colors and texture to the eye! If you're rings are on the darker side, I would use a contrasting color like white rice.

Soap Displays

The Pig and the Peacock

The Pig and the Peacock did a great job displaying their soap. I think the way they used staggered stacking displays. The color of their shop is what really catches your eye and brings you in, which is really what you shoot for. You want to stand out (and still be stylish). I also like how some of the soaps are sitting vertically and some horizontally-this really changes up the display. I've also included a photo of their display of the soap scents! This looks very professional and really adds to the look of the display all together.

Craft Fair Booth Displays / Necklace Displays

J. Elise Designs

What caught my eye about the way J. Elisa Designs displayed their necklaces was they various display tables & vases! The tables/design compliment the style of the necklaces and really sets a mood in the space. I can almost see candles burning in the corners as the aesthetics give you a sense that you're in a cozy and relaxing room. What's also great about this display is how the necklaces almost appear to be jewels hanging in a treasure box!

Display Case

Something's Hiding in Here

This is a great example of a display case for your goods. Something's Hiding in Here used it to display their toys, etc. It really changes it up and gets away from the same table options. If you can't find something made, you can make it yourself and have it fold and hinge. I'm not sure how, but it sounds good! :)

Toy Displays

Zooguu

What a fun and exciting display for toys! I really love how this goes against the grain of displays! I can imagine all the kids wanting to check this out. Zooguu did such a great job on this display, which will stand out from far away. Another way of achieving this is to glue small square boxes together then painting them. This can also stand on a table and look great!

Handbag Displays

India Romeo

This is a great way to display accessories & bags! I love how they line the booth and use items you may have around the house to hand from. It keeps them off tables and allows the buyers to walk into the booth with more ease. It also adds color to your "walls!"

XS Baggage & Co.

This booth, displaying bags, does a great job of changing up the display. They have some on the table, some hanging from a clothes line and some hanging on the grid wall. It really makes it look like there are different things to look at in the space. I also like the lanterns hanging from the booth, this really adds a great visual affect!

Craft Fair Booth Designs

HAMPTON JEWELS

This craft show booth looks refreshing and fun to visit. I also like the fabric flags hanging on the canopy that will draw the shoppers attention to your booth (assuming not every booth is doing it).

.................................................................................................

VIRIDIAN

What's great about this booth design is that it's very inviting! It's warm and welcoming. I want to spend time here and hang out. When you seen so much time and care put into a booth, you know their product will be just as highly crafted. They say you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, but first impressions are VERY important in booth design.

.................................................................................................

Fantastic Toys

Aside from the great colors & fun flag, I love the use of different tables in Fantastic Toys' booth! It looks like a fun candy store and I really want to see what's going on in there. They also did a great job in displaying their toys!

Toy Displays

Red Marionette

Another fun Booth Display for Toys! This one comes from Red Marionette, who has really done a great job with her display! Having the stuffed toys in boxes, rather than laying on the table, really help with space and add fun. I do like how she made the boxes white - being careful not to distract from the product. You can use any box (cereal box) you have laying around and cover it in white paper! It's also great to have the boxes in different sizes and shapes. The mini shelves, giving the display hierarchy is always a great design!

..........................................................................................

Fantastic Toys

What I love about this display is the use of small round tables rather than one big table! This makes it easier for the buyer to walk around and changes it up a bit. I also love the use of two different color table clothes & the use of another cloth that matches the booth. This just reads FUN FUN FUN and will surely bring that young shopper to your booth!
